Making Sense of Data
(in the IIoT and Automation Space)

The journey data takes in the automation and IIoT spaces can be quite remarkable. It gets created, transformed, encapsulated, encrypted, transported, decrypted, reported, presented, stored, forgotten, even predicted. Sometimes it gets lost, but even worse sometimes is that data is presented, and it just doesn't make sense!

Harnessing the value of data starts with the granular origins of it's really, about understanding the application. The challenge is transferring that application knowledge to the systems and people that are going to do the analytics. Then incorporating the data from the surrounding systems to find potential correlation in how those systems impact each other.

We will look at Weidmuller take on these topics and where they see themselves fitting into the data capturing, transferring and presentation space in the future.
